My daughters love lemonade and we experiment a lot with different ingredients. This one is our favourite recipe. Easy to make, yummy and healthy too. This can be made with different fruits. I am sharing the one we made with Kiwi.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups diced kiwi (about 3 medium)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cups mint leaves, chopped
  • ½ - 1 cup freshly-squeezed lemon
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, mix and heat water and sugar for some time. Once the sugar is nicely mixed, remove from heat and add chopped mint leaves. Let it cool for some time.
  2. Take kiwifruit and cut into chunks. Make a puree and add it to the sugar water. Refrigerate it until cold. Add lemon juice. Lemon can be added according to taste.
  3. Serve chilled by adding water and ice.
Notes
It is a very good source of Vitamin C and fiber. The best part is that kids can easily make it.
