Bracing Burger

The bracing burger is a burger with a difference as all the ingredients are healthy. Replaced normal buns with wholewheat bins, added oats with lentils instead of a deep-fried potato patty. Instead of cheese added paneer slices.
Ingredients
  • For cutlet –
  • Boiled moong dal – 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
  • Rolled Oats – ½ cup
  • Green chillies – chopped few
  • Curd – 2tsp
  • Fresh coriander – chopped little bit.
  • For burger –
  • Whole-wheat burger bun – 4
  • Paneer or cottage cheese (slices) – 4
  • Lettuce leaves – few
  • Tomato (sliced) – 2
Instructions
  1. For moong dal cutlet –
  2. Boil and mash moong dal. Keep it aside.
  3. Add rolled oats, Curd, chopped green chillies, coriander leaves chopped and ginger garlic paste to it.
  4. Now add salt, red chilly powder and mix it well.
  5. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll out into cutlet shape.
  6. Shallow fry in oil or air fry till done.
  7. For burger –
  8. Cut the burger buns into equal halves.
  9. First, toast the buns on a skillet.
  10. Place the cutlet and vegetables and top it up with the paneer slices on one half of the burger bun.
  11. Place the other half on the top and serve hot.
Notes
1. You can also use any other vegetables along with tomato and lettuce according to your liking.
2. We also do one more variation to it in which we add tamarind and coriander chutney in this burger. It not only tastes good but gives it a tangy taste and an Indian touch.
3. You can even replace paneer with cheese slice, mayonnaise or sandwich spread.
