Honey strawberry milkshake is a healthy milkshake and easy to make.
Ingredients
  • 2 scoop Vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 150 ml toned or non-fat milk
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 1tsp Chia seeds (optional)
Instructions
  1. Add sliced strawberries and little bit milk first in the blender.
  2. Mix it for about 30 seconds or until strawberries are nicely blended with the milk.
  3. Combine all other ingredients and mix for about 30 seconds till its smooth.
  4. Pour into a tall glasses. Garnish with some strawberry slices.
  5. As we are using fresh strawberries, there is no need for too much extra sugar.
  6. You can use soy milk or almond milk too in this recipe instead of the normal milk.
  7. You can even use frozen strawberries if you don’t have fresh ones.
Notes
You can replace honey with sugar if you do not like its taste as it might taste little different from a normal milkshake.
If you want to reduce the calories further, skip the ice cream.
I use chia seeds in my milkshake recipe but it's optional.
If you are planning to use them, you can soak it either overnight and use next day or soak at least for 2 hours and later blend with all the ingredients.
You can also sprinkle some chia seeds over the milkshake.
