I am a mom of a teen and a tween, you heard it right!

I shout most of the time, every day and night,

Sometimes they are like enemies and they always fight,

And I give up cos its heights!

I am sure you got an idea about the first topic for #teenandtween chronicles.

SIBLING FIGHTS-

When brothers or sisters fight with each other over anything and everything under the sun and a mom remember her own childhood days and her own mom. All the memories come back and finally we moms get to understand what our moms used to feel.”

My teen and tween are four years apart but they fight a lot. And the latest fight was about a bracelet which younger one wanted to order for herself and asked me to order it online. But, elder one didn’t want me to order it. Now you will think WHY? It’s just a bracelet. Right?

Wrong! As it’s not a normal bracelet, it’s a Harry potter bracelet and according to my elder one, her younger sister is a fake fan. So, she should not get it.

You are a fake fan! DO NOT order it for her mom.” Teen declares.

“I am not a fake fan, and, it’s mom’s wish, and you do not say anything.” Tween is no less from her sister.

Now looking at me with a cute puppy face, “Mom please order it. I already saw few Harry Potter movies and read books too.”

“Oh really? Can you tell me the story?” The teen is in no mood to stop now but I lost it by that time. Now, this is me-

“STOP IT BOTH OF YOU. I AM ORDERING IT FOR HER AS IT’S JUST A BRACELET AND DONT WANT ANY MORE DISCUSSION ON IT.”

Today the bracelet arrived and while my tween happily showed it off to her friends, teen announced,” You promise me you will read all the harry potter books. Otherwise, I will keep on calling you fake fan.”

“Although I am not a fake fan, will read few more books.” Tween happily agreed.

Finally, everyone is happy and while I am writing this, my tween sleeping with that bracelet on her hand. And I am secretly hoping, she won’t wear it to school tomorrow. 🙂

P.S I am starting #teenandtween chronicles in which I will be writing about sweet and not so sweet stories of my 10-year-old and 14 years old girls.
