“Happy Birthday Mommy,” I said. My mother looked at me with surprise.

“I am an old lady now, I don’t need celebrations like this anymore.” she said looking at the sea facing restaurant.

“No, Mom, You deserve it as you are my angel. Nothing can change that,” I said.

Her words echo in my heart as I look at the blue sky and the deep blue water.

“Dear daughter, nothing remains the same except this water and vast blue sky.” It has been five years since I lost my angel.

And she was wrong about one thing- I still need her.
