When I came to know about the Toys R Us store launch in India, it brought back many memories. It was our favourite toy store when we were in the US. Our elder one used to love this store as this was one destination for all her toys. It also made me nostalgic as we even bought all her first baby products from there.

A few days back, I got an invite to attend the store launch of Toys R Us in India. It was the opening of their first store in Phoenix market city, Bangalore on 7th October. There was a lot of excitement and fun all around with parents and kids checking out the toys in the store. The kids were in for a delight and parents were just happy to see the kids enjoying.

In India, the brand is launched by the Tablez group in two formats – Toys“R” Us which is the world’s leading toy store, and Babies “R” Us, a one-stop destination for baby essentials.

Tablez India, the franchise partner for Toys“R” Us in India, to open 65 stores by 2025.

The store has different categories of toys for both girls and boys in the age group of 3-11 years. Babies R Us has a collection of clothes, and all the baby products and a one-stop solution for new moms.

At the launch event, they also planned many fun activities for kids. It was called ‘Geoffory’s great toy party’ and there were different things to keep kids busy and happy.

There were creative workshops, entertainment and shows, and many fun activities like face painting, clowns, jugglers, puppet show, balloon modelling and kids mini disco. There were many fun competitions and games to win prizes.

The launch event focussed on introducing the store in all its wonder to Bangalore people and we enjoyed a lot and also bought some toys for the kids. It was fun to see parents were also enjoying with kids. We are very happy that a destination which is home to the widest range of toys is now in our city.

Looking forward to many such fun events at the store in the coming months where we can happily take our kids for fun activities. We welcome and wish Toys R Us all the best in India.
