Buzzing Bees – After School Classes and much more

A good after school program can be really helpful for kids to not only learn but grow in different spheres of life. As a mom and as someone from the creative field myself, I strongly believe that kids need to explore their creative side in order to flourish and grow. That’s why I loved the concept of Buzzing Bees which has after school classes for kids.

About the Founder –

Buzzing Bees is founded by Gayathri Vamasi in 2018 with a vision of providing holistic education to kids in a creative and fun environment. She has carved a niche in this venture by bringing together her passion for teaching, working with children, and leading a healthy lifestyle.

Gayathri is an MBA graduate who first discovered her love and flair for teaching as she homeschooled her sons who are now well-adjusted and caring teenagers while living in the United States. She developed effective methods of teaching and designing a curriculum that uses creative worksheets and fun activities.

Along with being a doting mom, Gayatri is also a teacher trainer, parent coach, memory trainer, emotional intelligence practitioner, and a fitness enthusiast.

About Buzzing Bees –

Buzzing Bees is an enrichment center for kids. Within a short span of starting, it grew in size and popularity. Fellow parents extended their genuine appreciation and support due to the well-thought-out curriculum that includes –

Parenting workshop – According to Gayatri – Our society has various courses, degrees, and colleges for every type of job. Be it engineering, lawyer or doctor, etc but there is not much for parents That’s why parenting workshops at buzzing bees is her effort to enable parents to be effective in their role and guiding them to make their parenting easier and more rewarding.

Phonics- Empowering children to read write and spell easily through phonics.

Reading club- Igniting the love to read through stories discussions and improving comprehension abilities and public speaking skills

Mystic mythology- helping children connect to our roots through slokas stories and Bhajans

Emotional intelligence workshops – developing the ability in children to understand use and manage emotions in positive ways. To help them to relieve stress and help them build strong relationships with themselves and others.

Social skills and manners- To raise successful children we must teach them social skills manners and etiquette. In this workshop, they learn these abilities through stories and activities.

Gayatri believes- Cooking with kids has its own charm and Buzzing Bees brings a unique experience to your home with recipes, storytelling, games, contents, worksheets, and covering a whole lot of cuisines-Indian and International through their new venture called Kiddies’ Kitchen. This workshop covers unique categories of cooking vocabulary, safety measures, precautions and tips and tricks.
