Whole wheat walnut banana bread

Wholewheat banana walnut bread is eggless bread which is healthy to eat and easy to make.
  • Whole wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Brown Sugar – ½ cup
  • Baking soda - ½ tsp
  • Baking powder - ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon powder - ½ tsp
  • Walnuts – few (According to your liking)
  • Cooking Oil - ¼ cup
  • Bananas - 2 mashed
  • Buttermilk – ½ cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  1. Preheat the oven to 180c.
  2. Now take a baking tin and oil it and keep it aside.
  3. Now take all the dry ingredients. Add wheat flour, cinnamon, sugar, baking soda and baking powder and mix it together nicely.
  4. Now mash the bananas. And add it to the mix.
  5. Now add oil and buttermilk and mix gently but properly.
  6. Afterward, pour this mixture into the baking tin and top it up with walnuts. And bake at 180c.
  7. Take out the tin when it’s ready. Let it cool and cut the slices and serve fresh.
You can use milk ½ cup with ½ tsp vinegar or instead of buttermilk too.
Do no use any electric mixture. Mix it manually.
For me, it takes 30 minutes to bake it. But it can vary depending on oven.
You can use normal sugar if you don't have brown sugar.
