The journey of being an author from the blogger is something many of us look forward to and I am one of the lucky ones to take up this step. I participated in Blogchatter A to Z for 3 consecutive years and also published 3 Ebooks courtesy Blogchatter Ebook carnival. If you just finished your A to Z challenge and looking forward to publish your Ebook, here are some simple steps to guide you.

What is Blogchatter Ebook Carnival?

This is an initiative by Blogchatter to help bloggers to publish their work and to be authors. The Ebook carnival helps you to take your first step in the world of book writing. They have very simple steps to guide you and help you to publish your Ebook successfully.

Why to participate and publish your book through this carnival?

Having a blog certainly helps in showcasing your ideas through blog posts but an Ebook can help you to show your authority on the subject. Being an author, you can actually share your views in a broader form. If it’s your first time publishing a book, this carnival is surely helpful to understand the basics of being an author.

How to participate and publish your book?

f you participated in A to Z challenge, you can collate all your posts, edit them, and make them ready to be published as a book. Also, there is good news for others who didn’t participate in A to Z challenge. You can still participate in the Blogchatter Ebook carnival and publish your book. If you feel you have enough manuscript ready, you can participate too. Just fill the registration form of eBook carnival and wait for the emails from Blogchatter for the next steps to follow. How Blogchatter helps in the whole process?

You get all the help you need to get your book ready. There is a list of mentors to guide you and you can choose any one of them. I am one of the mentors and if you need any help, you can ask me. Regarding tech stuff, Blogchatter helps you by sending a checklist which can help you to tick all the right steps.

Also, once it’s ready, your book is launched by Blogchatter on a big scale and it will be reviewed by other authors. The best part is that you will not only get readers in the Blogchatter community but they will also help spread the news about your book.

So, what are you waiting for?

The last day to register is 8th May and to submit your book is 15th May, 2020. The best part is that the whole process is completely free. But make sure you are registered at Blogchatter and you are good to go. If you are participating, you have to compulsorily review at least two other books under the reviewer program.

Few tips from my experience –

  1. Make sure you add colourful images in the book.
  2. The cover page makes a huge difference. So, either you design it through tools like Canva or you can take a professional help too.
  3. Do not make the book very lengthy. You can edit a few posts from your A to Z challenge if you feel it’s not appropriate for the book.
  4. If you are confused about the content, you can take the help of your friends or any professionals to guide you in deciding, making changes, and also editing.

Wishing you all the best for your journey from blogger to author. Please free feel to ask any questions you have in the comments below. Don’t think too much, take the plunge. This is the registration link for the Ebook carnival.
