When you are a mom, it’s normal to have anxieties,
When you are a mom, it’s normal to have fear of unknown.
With changing world all around,
I see her growing in front of me and get scared.
I am afraid of making unknown mistakes,
And of trusting someone with her eyes closed.
When you are a mom, it’s normal to have anxieties,
When you are a mom, it’s normal to have fear of unknown.
When I see around and when I hear all the stories,
I fear for my kids and I fear for their well being.
When I am not around, or when everything is new,
Hope she will be able to handle all the atrocities.
When you are a mom, it’s normal to have anxieties,
When you are a mom, it’s normal to have fear of unknown.
I want to give her reassurance and a promise,
I want to give her a beautiful world in which there is love and peace.
I want a beautiful future for her,
With new possibilities and a new world to live.
When you are a mom, it’s normal to have anxieties,
When you are a mom, it’s normal to have fear of unknown.
I am sometimes terrified of what could be,
I don’t want to stay in constant state of fear.
I want her to be fierce and strong,
Who can face the world with a smile and understand right from wrong.
When you are a mom, it’s normal to have anxieties,
When you are a mom, it’s normal to have fear of unknown.
I am sure every mom can relate to my thoughts as moms think alike when it comes to their kids. The fears of a mom are real but it’s better not to think too much and let the kids be. Fears make us weak and we have to be strong for our kids.

It is every mother’s fear that her children should not get into any trouble. We fear more for them than for ourselves.
