“Wisdom is knowing what to do next. Skill is knowing how to do it and virtue is doing it.” – David Starr Jordann.
A few days back one of my cousins asked me about skills as he had to mention it in his resume. I told him to mention only those which can get him hired fast. When he asked me, it made me wonder about the skills which I possess.
Skills are something which we are good at like our strengths or abilities. These skills make us different from others and all of us have some or the other skill. These make us what we are and also unique.
My 3 skills which I am thankful for-
Multitasking – I manage an activity center, dance classes, blogging, and take care of operations at my husband’s start-up. I don’t know if it is exactly a skill or not but I love doing everything I do and feel proud of handling everything myself. It’s important to keep ourselves busy and active. I cannot sit idle and feel staying busy is the biggest secret to happiness.
Time management– I like finishing things beforehand. If it’s a blogging assignment, any campaign or preparation for going out or planning a party, I prefer finishing everything on time. I make a to-do list of all the tasks and categorise tasks priority wise. The tasks with a deadline are always on high priority for me.
Adaptability – I have travelled a lot after marriage. Every two years we used to move and I have never done so much packing in my life as much I have done after marriage. It’s not easy if you are not adjustable and do not take things positively. I adjust easily to different situations and different people and I give credit to my parents for this quality. This skill has helped me a lot in life.
What all skills you have which make you thankful?

I am also a multi-tasker and I’m thankful for this ability as it keeps me busy with juggling several balls in the air at a time! Thanks for this post. Visit my world: Share Your World – From Voortrekker Monument to Kruger National Park.
