5 Bollywood Moms We Adore

Mothers, Moms, mommies, mamma, mummy- whatever you call them, they are all the same- loving, caring, and always ready to teach you something new. 🙂

In our Bollywood movies, we have seen many adorable screen moms like Ratna Pathak, Kirron Kher And Many Others Who Have Donned Their Roles As Mothers.

Here is a list of five of the moms who we all adore and are also my favourite on-screen mommies-

Jaya bachchan in Kabhi khushi kabhie ghum-  In this movie, Jaya Bachchan’s role was of a loving and sweet mother who has two sons- One adopted and one his own, played by Shahrukh and Hrithik. I loved her in this movie as she already has that mom like charm in herself which comes out in some of the intense scenes of this movie. 

Kirron kher in Dostana – Loved her as a mom in Om Shanti Om, Devdas and recently Khoobsurat. But we all surely loved this Punjabi ma in Dostana who gets shock of her life after she comes to know his son’s reality. Kirron Kher is no doubt a very good actress who can portray different roles effortlessly.

Amrita Singh in 2 States- Another Punjabi mom whom we all adored. Amrita did a great job with her role in this movie as both, a mom with a sense of humour and a mom who has seen a lot of hardships in life. Recently she again performed in Flying Jatt as a strong Punjabi mom and we all loved her.

Ratna pathak in Jaane tu ya jaane na – Ratna pathak is a popular onscreen mom with various great movies like Ek main aur ek tu, khoobsurat, Golmaal and recently Kapoor and sons. We got to see a different mom in all these movies and she was superb in all her roles.

Sridevi in English Vinglish-  She was a hero of the film and I am sure we all loved her as a mom in this one as she learns to stand up for her own rights. Also, how she steps out of her families shadows and learns to love herself.
