Do you know its Women’s day on 8th March? Are you thankful for the women in your life?
I think one day is not enough to celebrate women. They should be celebrated every day for all their achievements. As a loving mom, caring daughter, supportive wife and as someone who can move mountains for their family if required.
Women everywhere are same, it’s just circumstances are different which make us different from each other. I have had different experiences with different women and some have been great and some not so great. I strongly believe if women start supporting other women instead of bringing each other down, this world can be a better place.
Jealousy, immaturity, backstabbing, gossiping, and judging others are some things which lead to negative consequences.
I strongly believe in this adage, “When women support each other, incredible things happen.”
Right from my mom to some wonderful women in my life now, It’s a long list for me and hard to mention all of them here. But today, I am thankful for all those women who helped me in various phases of my life. And also thankful for those who didn’t help me as they taught me some important lessons in life.
We can do a lot better ladies just be supporting each other instead of holding each other back. Let’s try to be little more considerate and little less judgemental.
Do you think it’s possible? Looking forward to hearing from you. Please let me know in the comments below.

I think it’s definitely difficult for women to support others sometimes, as there is constantly the pressure of being pitted toward each other, so things always seem a little toxic- this sounds like a great way to raise awareness and I’ll definitely be tweeting about this! Xo

I’d like to say I always support other women but, in reality, that isn’t always true. Sad to admit it.

Deepa I believe this too.Women when they support each other miracles happen .Those who help and those who don’t ,both teach us something

Yes and we learn all this only after our experience with others. Thanks Amrita 🙂

Often it is women who become the nemesis of another women. Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, coleagues fighting for the same position, don’t we see it all? But as you said, incredible things can happen when women support other women.

Yes Preethi..Women need to support each other in order to go ahead in life. Bringing each other down wont help any one. Thanks for reading 🙂

Women can be one another’s worst enemy, and also best friends. There’s support that you find in a circle of women that is hard to find anywhere else, I believe.

Agree Jini but I wish more and more women understand this and start supporting each other. Thanks for stopping by 🙂

I loved your line, ‘When women support each other incredible things happen’
A woman understands another woman like a man cannot. Wish women used this power to build each other up and not break each other down.

Women have a harder fight to reach anywhere (forget the top). Add their own insecurities (from conditioning since birth), societal expectations and VOILA – You have an explosive mix when you add brains or ambition to it!
Each woman is fighting her own convictions too everyday; feeling guilty for caring about herself – is it a wonder she is suspicious or just plain tired to help out anyone else!!!
I think women generally are very Giving/nurturing selves but when faced with pettiness (bcoz the other woman has a chip on her shoulder) things kinda get ugly!
I would say 8/10 woman I have in my life or I meet in the course of life are helpful and progressive with a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry strong mind of their own – these are my kind of women!

Yes Shalz..we all are fighting our own battles and no one is perfect but one thing which makes me sad is dishonesty and cheating. Things have always been like this and will remain too but its important to be careful and maintain distance from those from whom u don’t get positive vibes. Thanks for taking out time to share your thoughts. 🙂

Well said Deepa I agree with your thoughts – even the women who back stab, are mean, try pulling us down teach us a lesson in life, my post echoes similar sentiments! Glad to see we have similar thoughts!

I definitely support Women’s Day, just like I supported the Women’s March in DC, one of the best days of my life and such an inspiration to even be there!
