Staycations are short vacations in or around your city. It’s a great way to unwind and relax on a weekend. We celebrated our 23rd anniversary recently and we chose to go for a staycation in the city. While planning a staycation for my wedding anniversary in Bangalore and looking through several sites, I came across Novotel. I am sharing our experience of our anniversary staycation at Novotel Outer Ring Road. We had a wonderful time and it was a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary.

Our staycation experience –

Our staycation experience was truly delightful. Choosing to stay local provided us with a wonderful opportunity to unwind and explore the hidden gems in our city.

The accommodation we got exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was tastefully decorated, offering a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. There was a cake for our anniversary and a welcome note in the room. Modern amenities and thoughtful touches enhanced our overall comfort.

During our stay, we took full advantage of the hotel’s facilities. The spa provided a serene retreat, allowing us to indulge in rejuvenating treatments. The outdoor pool became our favorite spot to soak up the sun and unwind. The 24-hour gym was a convenient option for maintaining our fitness routine, even during a leisurely stay.

Our culinary experience-

Dining at the hotel was a culinary delight. For lunch we went to The Square, a multi-cuisine and all-day restaurant that served a variety of delectable dishes, catering to diverse tastes. We also appreciated the option for in-room dining, allowing us to savor delicious meals in the comfort of our own space. Additionally, we enjoyed our evening tea and snacks at their premium lounge called Chez Nous. The 24-hour French lounge serves the freshest coffee and innovative cocktails.

The highlight of the stay was the seafood festival at Blue Terrain. It provides a selection of timeless Mediterranean barbecue and grills, along with other delectable dishes, all set against the backdrop of a poolside ambiance on an outdoor terrace. There was live music, yummy food, and drinks.

As we wrapped up our stay, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the memorable experience. Our staycation proved that you don’t always need to travel far to create lasting memories and enjoy a well-deserved break. It was a perfect blend of comfort, exploration, and rejuvenation – an experience we look forward to repeating in the future.
