20th March, 2017- Theme reveal day for A to Z challenge 2017. This is my first AtoZ challenge and I have mixed feelings about it. I am nervous, excited and afraid at the same time. Nervous, because there are so many things going on right now and April is already fully packed with many other things at personal and work front.

Excited, because this is something which I really wanted to try and AtoZ challenge looks like a great fun.

Afraid as I just hope that I will be able to find some time to read, write and comment.

When I came to know that we need to decide a particular theme for it as it makes writing much easier, the first thing which came to my mind was ‘Parenting’.

But was confused as I was not sure if non-parent bloggers will connect to my theme. Mayuri who participated in 2015 encouraged me to go for it.  Asked many pro bloggers too and Chandni gave some good tips.

Don’t choose your theme per what others would like. You should choose something you like and represents you as a blogger.If parenting defines you, Take that theme.

My blog is a reflection of things I love- Being a mom, health, and nutrition, travel, and life in general.

I do write about various other topics like nutrition (as I am a dietician), and travel (I love travelling and share my travelling experiences), or anything about life, but parenting is closest to my heart.

We all want to be the best parents for our kids and we all struggle sometimes. But the best part of being a parent blogger is that we share these struggles with others and know that we are not alone. Parenting has its own ups and downs but the trick is to hang on and keep smiling. 🙂

So, I will be sharing my learnings as a mom with you all.

Being a mommy blogger and this being my first #AtoZchallenge, I want to start with a theme which defines me and my blog.

For now, I will just flow with the go and see where it takes me. Looking forward to sharing my experiences with you all and also to read your wonderful blogs.

I look forward to #AtoZ Challenge 2017 this April!
