“I have a theory that movies operate on the level of dreams, where you dream yourself.”
― Meryl Streep.
We all look forward to some form of entertainment or fun in our lives. Going to movies is a lot of fun and a great way to take a break from daily routine. We all have some favourite movies and some movies where we feel connected.
Sometimes there are stories that you can relate to, and see your life revolving around the characters. I normally avoid watching emotional dramas and on the other hand love comedy movies. Sometimes we relate more to those stories which are more close to our current situation. So, here are two movies which I can relate to –
The family man- I love this movie as it is a comedy drama and it’s about taking important decisions in life. Recently watched it again so remembered it. Sometimes we all are stuck between two important things in our life. I can relate to it as I also took some decisions earlier in my life and this movie shows how not pursuing career / wealth goals are also important because of family.
This movie can also make you think about the decisions you took in life. Are they worth sacrificing your family life for?
Next movie is the one with which everyone can relate to I guess at some time- Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The only difference is that in this movie some friends try to live their life before marriage and me and my husband are trying to live it now after marriage. 🙂
This movie teaches us many lessons like you only live once, money can’t buy everything and as you only live once so live in the present.
What movies do you most relate to and why?
Do you know any movie that you think is similar to what happened or is happening in your life right now? We are ready with some popcorn and waiting to hear from you. 🙂

You relate to movies for so many reasons, isn’t it Deepa. I am so glad we chose this as our first prompt, its such a amazing experience to relive these movies from your memory. I had so many to write about, I might have to write a part two to my post. And ZNMD is a personal favourite too. It reminds me to live in the moment and for the moment. Lovely Post Deepa.

ZNMD! my favorite too, in fact I am a movies person Deepa and watch almost all movies as they are release and watch again n number of times when I get a chance. I love movies and try to get the actual emotion the actor wants to put forth. That way I have become such a movie buff that even a thriller is become predictable nowadays.
I think too much movies does that eventually to you. Yet I have a lot to relate to movies, however, this time I have entered something that actually made me think. (and think is what I do 22 hours a day)

ZNMD is one of may favourites too. Even though the setting is a bit too fantastical for my likes, the message of the film never fails to pep me up.
