“Happy Birthday Mommy,” I said. My mother looked at me with surprise.
“I am an old lady now, I don’t need celebrations like this anymore.” she said looking at the sea facing restaurant.
“No, Mom, You deserve it as you are my angel. Nothing can change that,” I said.
Her words echo in my heart as I look at the blue sky and the deep blue water.
“Dear daughter, nothing remains the same except this water and vast blue sky.” It has been five years since I lost my angel.
And she was wrong about one thing- I still need her.
