Los Angeles is a city in southern California and famous for many things, especially for Hollywood and star homes. There are popular Universal studios, Warner Brothers and many more. It is rightly called the entertainment city of the world as it is home to many film studios and also the television industry.

It is the largest and one of the most populous city on the West coast in the US.

My Memories of Hollywood city Los Angeles –

 

We went to this beautiful city in 2003. We were visiting one of our friends who stayed there and it was truly a great experience. The beautiful Santa Monica beach, the Rodeo Drive, the Hollywood walk of fame and Griffith observatory were all worth visiting. But the highlight of the trip was the Universal studios. It was a fun-filled day exploring different rides, shows, and parks.

 

The rides and attractions leave you speechless and we had a great time too. Our favourite part was the world-famous studio tour especially for us as we are movie buffs. There is also popular Disney land in LA but we skipped it and went to Disney World in Florida later.

There are a lot of shopping places and we went from Santa Monica to Montana Avenue which has many shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. Any place is fun with friends and that was another reason we enjoyed Los Angeles or LA thoroughly.

 

Our itinerary included a visit to San Diego which is famous for its beaches and parks. It’s just 190 km from Los Angeles, so we visited it for its famous sea world. San Diego sea world is an animal theme park with marine shows, aquariums, and rides. We enjoyed the famous dolphin show and an up-close encounter with aquatic animals.

About the city –

Los Angeles, the Hollywood city is a city of dreams, a city you will fall in love with and a city which leaves you to star struck. It has a Mediterranean climate so you can visit all year around. It is mostly sunny on all days and it sometimes rains in winters. So, it’s always a good idea to carry sunscreen and an umbrella with you.

The best place to stay in LA is Santa Monica as many places are just walking distance from here.

The popular places to see are –

  1. Hollywood and Hollywood walk of fame
  2. Santa Monica pier/beach
  3. Griffith Observatory
  4. Venice beach walk away
  5. Disney land

Griffith Park has a point called Griffith observatory from where you can see the whole town and the Hollywood sign too.
